IRON EAGLE - IRON BLOCKS “STEEL CAPS”
The  SBC Iron eagle blocks all have the cam tunnel raised .391” and have the oil pan rails spread out (.400”each side) to provide extra clearance for stroker cranks.  Both the Chev & Ford Iron Eagle blocks have 1>5 steel 4 bolt caps with the 3 centre caps also being splayed.  DART Iron Eagle blocks are the best cast iron blocks available  on the market.

Cast from premium 355-T6 aerospace alloy
Ductile iron sleeves & extra thick walls prevent cracking & provide excellentpiston ring seal. SBC’s have the cam tunnel raised .391” and oil pans rails spread out (.400” each side)  to provide extra clearance.
The SBC utilizes BBC cam bearings to increase cam strength & reduce cam twisting with cam driven pumps.
