These new special High Performance blocks from Dart give you all the features you need to build powerful and durable engines at an affordable price.  The SHP blocks feature Siamese cylinders with either 4.000” & 4.125” standard bore sizes. These blocks can be bored safely to 4.165” and still retain a wall thickness of .230”

These blocks are designed for high performance and heavy-duty applications requiring up to 600 HP. ( HP rating recommended by Dart )

These blocks are CNC machined.  Decks are parallel, lifter bores, cam & main tunnels are also finished.  The SHP block is designed for compatibility with stock components, so no costly parts are required for assembly.  These blocks are hundreds of dollars less than a full race block.  The SHP block is the best value for money currently available.
