INHOUSE 5 AXIS CNC CYLINDER HEAD PORTING AVAILABLE AT PAVTEK

With over 25+ years of experience in cylinder head porting and engine development we'll now be able to duplicate all of our best ports at an affordable price.

For many years our primary goal when porting a cylinder head has been to achieve the correct cross sectional area and airspeed for a given engine capacity and rpm range.  Final flow figures are "NOT" our primary concern. Testing has shown on MANY occasions that porting cylinder heads in this fashion will result in the best overall power and throttle response. The cylinder heads need to be sized to suit the application just like ALL of the other engines components need to be. Buying a cylinder head just based on flow figures is not the key.  It's the best designed complete package that wins every time.

All of our cylinder heads will be application specific, so please don't just call and order our best flowing versions. Let us help decide on what best suits your application.

PORTING FOR POWER - NOT FLOW BENCH NUMBERS !

The dyno test shown above is PROOF that flow bench figures should not be the primary concern when purchasing your next set of cylinder heads.  This is the same 351 Cleveland engine package with cast iron 2V cylinder heads and the same solid (flat tappet) camshaft and compression. As you can see one engine made much more power & torque.  Up to 76 HP more in fact.

Would you believe the cylinder heads that made more power & torque actually flowed less air on the same flow bench !

The cylinder heads that made more power were ported for power and not flow bench numbers
